Lakme Perfect Radiance Multi -Mineral SPF 20 Compact

I Bought the Lakme Compact (Ivory Fair) from the local drug store for Rs: 150. This shade has a slightly wheatish fair nude color. It has a powder like consistency not oily based. It stays light on the face unlike those heavy based powder compacts also has nice concealing effect as it covers every blemish & marks I have.

Also it is a Multi mineral compact enriched with Vitamin B3 & SPF 20 which also helps you get fairer as well as protects you from harmful UV rays. The Powder-puff is very thin and not durable.

Overall I really like this product. I have been using it for some time now. The real good thing that is its not over priced and very reasonable, lasts longer on the face, doesn't cause allergies or breakouts and also very nice for everyday use.

VOV Candy Eye Shadow Compacts

VOV is Cosmetic brand from Korea. I purchased 3 C.A.N.D.Y Eye shadow palette from a local cosmetic store.

The shades are as follows:

602 has Pearl White, Pink, Violet Sky Blue, Orange, Green

604 has Pearl White, Yellow, Pink, Lilac, Sea green & Indigo

607 has Pearl White, Ivory, Nude, Pinkish Gold, Purple & Dark Plum

607 Shade (left), 602 Shade (center) & 604 Shade (right)

Pros :

The colors look nice both the light and dark swatches.
It does give me a nice look
It doesn't irritated my eyes.

Cons:

The colors are very light.
Its too over powdered and does fall onto the Eye lashes while applying.
The applicator is not durable, the bristles come off easily.

Overall, Its a really nice product if you want to go for a lighter or natural look. It definitely suits the fairer skin tone & a neutral wheatish tone. So I wouldn't recommend it if your skin tone is on the darker side.

Elie Saab never disappoints year after year his designs intrigues us to look at a female silhouette in a unique way. His Spring 2012 collection was sheer perfection. It embodied elegant & class, in a way that only he could take timeless creations and present it into a modern world. His use of soft pastel colors like pink, peach, sky blue, mint green and sunny yellow etc were breathtaking.

The Lebanese Designer’s creative approach, for adding lace foliage embellished details with long mesh flowing fabric was incredible. His use of sequins & prints was impeccable. His brilliant technique of bringing his vision to life is remarkable. Each design had its own unique touch and all of them looked picturesque. Its awe-inspiring and feminine it just felt like it was right out of a fantasy. The thing I love about this designer is that he sticks to what he knows best, and the outcome couldn't have been more inspiring.
